Dr Julie Beischel is co-founder and Director of Research at the Windbridge Research Center, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to easing suffering around dying, death, and what comes through rigorous scientific research and the provision of free educational materials. Beischel’s main research interests include experiences of spontaneous, facilitated, assisted, and requested after-death communication. She has been performing peer-reviewed laboratory research with psychic mediums for roughly 20 years. She was a runner-up in the 2021 essay contest on life after death run by the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies (BICS) and in 2022 was appointed one of the Directors of BICS.
