My photograph ‘Ausgang’ has been chosen for an international photography exhibition in Rome this year. Produced by LoosenArt and taking place in the Millepiani Gallery, the exhibition is on the theme of ‘Language’.
Shot in the Staatsoper Hamburg (Hamburg State Opera House) last year, the photograph captures a prophetic moment before the world went into lockdown. A dark crowd of shadowy reflections moves towards the exit (the ‘Ausgang’ of the title), going against the flow a solitary figure seems to represent hope – hope that our exit will not be final.
LoosenArt is an online gallery and platform dedicated to contemporary visual arts, and organises themed exhibitions throughout the year.
According to organisers LoosenArt, 1,385 entries were received in the course of the competition. The winners can be seen at https://www.loosenart.com/pages/exhibition-language.
The exhibition will take place at Millepiani throughout May, 2021.
Millepiani can be found on Via N. Odero, 13 Rome, Italy, and is open from Monday to Friday, 09:00 am – 20:00 pm. For further information contact firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone +39 06 888 17 620.
